Dubai Law No. 2 of 2013 amending Certain Provisions of Law No. 7 of 1997 on Land Registration Fees

Not in Force, this Law amended Law No. 7 of 1997, which was abrogated by Dubai Law No. 7 of 2013.

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

- Having reviewed Law No. 7 of 1997 concerning Land Registration Fees and its amendments, 

- Law No. 7 of 2006 Concerning Real Property Registration in the Emirate of Dubai,

- Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Management of the Public Funds of the Government of Dubai and its amendments, 

we have issued the following law:

Article 1 — Warehouse sales contract registration fee

The following fee shall be added to the schedule of land registration fees attached to the aforementioned Law No. 7 of 1997:

Registration of a warehouse sales contract 10 dirhams per square meter of the area of the land plot on which the warehouse is located, provided that the amount of the fee shall not be less than 10 000 dirhams.

Article 2 — Assignment of the fee

The proceeds of the fee collected in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 of this Law shall be credited to the General Treasury of the Government of Dubai.
