We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,
- After perusal of Dubai Law No. 3 of 2003 Establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai,
- Dubai Law No. 18 of 2006 Concerning the Management and Realisation of the Public Funds of the Government of Dubai,
- The Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law No. 27 of 2006,
- Dubai Law No. 18 of 2009 Establishing the Department of Oil Affairs,
- Dubai Decree No. 1 of 1992 Establishing the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and its amendments,
- Dubai Decree No. 2 of 1992 Establishing the Dubai Supply Authority,
- Dubai Decree No. 9 of 2001 Concerning Dubai Aluminum Limited Company, and Dubai Decree No. 26 of 2006 Establishing the Dubai Petroleum,
Do hereby issue the following Law:
This Law shall be cited as "Law No. 19 of 2009 Establishing the Supreme Council of Energy".
The following words and expressions, wherever mentioned in this Law, shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context implies otherwise:
Emirate: The Emirate of Dubai.
Ruler: His Highness the Ruler of Dubai.
