We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,
- After perusal of:
- Dubai Law No. 17 of 2005 Establishing the Roads and Transport Authority;
- Dubai Law No. 11 of 2007 Establishing the Dubai Maritime City;
- Dubai Executive Council Decision No. 8 of 2006 Establishing the Agencies Affiliated to the Roads and Transport Authority and Approving their Corporate and Organisational Structures;
- Dubai Regulation No. 2 of 2007 Regulating the Operation of Water Buses on Dubai Creek;
- Dubai Regulation No. 3 of 2008 Concerning Use and Licensing of Personal Watercraft in the Emirate of Dubai; and
- Dubai Local Order No. 6 of 1998 Regulating the Operation of Small Passenger Boats (Abras) on the Dubai Creek and its amendments,
Do hereby issue this Law.
This Law will be cited as “Dubai Law No. 11 of 2010 Concerning the Licensing of Vessels in the Emirate of Dubai”.
The following words and expressions, wherever mentioned in this Law, will have the meaning indicated opposite each of them unless the context implies otherwise:
