We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council,
- having reviewed Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations and its amendments, and its Executive
- Dubai Law No. 26 of 2023 on the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai
- Ministerial Decision No. 44 of 2022 on Occupational Health and Safety and Labour Housing, and its amendments
have decided the following:
Establishments licensed by the relevant commercial licensing authority in the Emirate of Dubai that employ fifty (50) workers or more whose salary is AED 2,000 or less shall provide housing for these workers.
The establishments subject to the provisions of this Decision shall harmonise the status in accordance with its provisions within a period not exceeding one year from the date of its implementation. The Executive Council may extend this period for a similar period in cases that require it.
