We, Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council,
- Having reviewed Federal Decree-Law No. 55 of 2023 Regulating Media and its Executive Regulations,
- Dubai Law No. 5 of 2022 Establishing the Dubai Media Council and its amendments;
- Dubai Decree No. 66 of 2024 On Determining the Competent Authority in the Emirate of Dubai for the purposes of implementing Federal Decree-Law No. 55 of 2023 Regulating Media
have decided the following:
The following words, wherever they appear in this Decision, shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Emirate: The Emirate of Dubai;
Council: Dubai Media Council;
Committee: Dubai Film Development Committee, formed pursuant to this Decision;
Chairman: Chairman of the Committee.
