- Having reviewed Dubai Law No. 5 of 1994 Establishing the Dubai Transport Organization, as amended by Dubai Law No. 7 of 2005
have decided the following:
The following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
Emirate: Emirate of Dubai.
Organization: Dubai Transport Organization.
Offices: Car rental Offices in the Emirate.
Electric Car Rental Information System (ECDIS): An electronic computer system designed for car rental Offices licensed in the Emirate and installed on their computers for the purpose of entering information related to the activities and business of these Offices, in accordance with the classifications prepared in the system, hereinafter referred to in this Decree as (the system).
Electronic Connection: Linking two or more computers with an electronic programme or information system for the purpose of exchanging information between them.
