Dubai Decision No. 210 of 2025 Approving the Guidelines for the Rules for Estimating Expert Fees

- Having reviewed Dubai Law No. 13 of 2020 On the Regulation of Expert Work Before the Judicial Authorities in the Emirate of Dubai, hereinafter referred to as "the Law",

- Based on the recommendations of the Expert Affairs Committee formed in the Dubai Courts,

have decided the following:

Article 1 - Approval of the Guide

The "Guidelines for the Rules for Estimating Expert Fees", attached hereto, including the criteria, controls and rules contained therein, are hereby approved and shall be published on the Dubai Courts website.

Article 2 - Application of the Guidelines

Except for persons and entities exempted from the application of the provisions of the law, the guidelines referred to in Article 1 of this Decision shall apply to judicial authorities when assessing the fees of experts and to anyone who practises judicial expertise before them.

Article 3 - Review and Updating of the Guide

The Expert Affairs Committee of the Dubai Courts shall periodically review the guidelines approved pursuant to this resolution, either on its own initiative or at the requ...
