In line with Dubai Blockchain Strategy and Dubai e- Commerce Strategy aimed at strengthening Dubai's position as the global capital of the new economy and as a global logistics hub for the region, and fostering a flexible business and investment environment in the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to supporting government integration with the private sector and its logistical advantages, and for the purposes of simplifying and facilitating customs procedures and regulating the movement of personal goods through E-commerce channels;
The following has been decided:
a. Department: Dubai Customs
b. Companies: Commercial companies, including free zone companies, and customs warehouses registered with the Department that provide online retail and selling services for goods and products through digital channels.
c. Value: The value of the goods for customs purposes.
d. Platform: Cross-Border e-Commerce Platform.
e. Personal Goods: Goods for personal use whose value does not exceed AED 10,000 being imported/ exported for individuals via companies.
