In line with Dubai Blockchain Strategy and Dubai e-Commerce Strategy aimed at strengthening Dubai's position as the global capital of the new economy and as a global logistics hub for the region, and fostering a flexible business environment for investors in the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to support government integration with the private sector and its logistical advantages, and for the purposes of simplifying and facilitating customs procedures and regulating the movement of goods through Cross-Border e- commerce channels

The following has been decided:

 

Article 1 - Definitions

a. Department: Dubai Customs

 

b. Companies: Commercial companies, including small & medium enterprises (SME), free zone companies, logistics companies, and customs warehouses registered with the Department that provide online retail and selling services for goods and products through e- Commerce channels.

 

c. Value: The value of the goods for customs purposes.

 

d. Platform: The customs' Cross-Border e-Commerce Platform.

 

e. Goods: Goods and products that have been purchased/sold through e-Commerce channels...
