- Having reviewed Dubai Law No. 17 of 2005 Establishing the Roads and Transport Authority and its amendments;
- Dubai Law No. 1 of 2016 On the Financial System of the Government of Dubai and its amendments and Executive Regulations;
- Dubai Law No. 12 of 2020 On Contracts and Warehouse Management in the Government of Dubai
- Dubai Executive Council Decision No. 54 of 2021 On the Regulation of Road Works in the Emirate of Dubai, hereinafter referred to as "the Decision"
have decided the following:
In addition to the definitions contained in the Decision, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite them, unless the context requires otherwise:
Authority: The Roads and Transport Authority.
Director General: Director General of the Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Agency: The Traffic and Roads Agency.
