In these Licensing Rules, unless the context otherwise requires, words or expressions not defined have the same meaning and interpretation as in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority Company Regulations 2024 (the Company Regulations) or the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority Companies Limited by Guarantee Regulations 2024 (the CLG Regulations), as applicable.
For the purposes of these Licensing Rules, the following words, unless the context otherwise requires, have the following meanings:
Applicable Laws and Rules means the Laws and rules applicable to and in the DMCC Free Zone, including any other laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures issued by DMCCA from time to time;
Approved Auditor means the auditor which has been registered by DMCCA as an approved auditor;
Approved Freelance Activities means the list of approved freelance activities of the Registrar as may be amended from time to time;
Company means a company formed under the Company Regulations or the Companies Limited by Guarantee Regulations;
Confirmation of Dormancy has the meaning given to it in Rule 6.8;
