In line with Department of Health role to provide the best pharmaceutical products to patients and to improve the level of healthcare services provided in Abu Dhabi, Department of Health has amended the narcotic forcast to include new narcotic drugs containing cannabis and its derivatives (amended list attached).
Accordingly, all authorized health and pharmaceutical facilities, and within the scope of health practices, can request and identify the quantities to be consumed for narcotic drugs in 2023, with emphasis on the importance of adhering to all standards and regulatory procedures of DoH with regard to handling narcotic drugs.
