1.1 These Procedures shall be known as the Creative Media Authority Compliance Procedures 2016.
1.2 These Procedures came into force on 1 April 2016 as the Media Zone
- Abu Dhabi Compliance Procedures 2016 and continue to remain in force as the Creative Media Authority Compliance Procedures 2016 in accordance with Law 8.
2.1 These Procedures are made pursuant to the Authority's power under Law 8 to issue procedures to organize, control and monitor Licensees within the Zone.
2.2 These Procedures shall be followed by the Authority when investigating and enforcing breaches of the Regulations and the Code by Licensees.
3.1 In these Procedures:
a. Authority means the Creative Media Authority as established in accordance with the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Law No 7 of 2021;
b. Code means the Creative Zone Content Code 2016;
c. Competent Body means any UAE or Emirate of Abu Dhabi governmental, judicial or regulatory body;
d. Complainant means an individual or entity that makes a Complaint;
