Subject: Compliance with Dubai Law No. 8 of 2007 regarding the marketing of real estate projects
RERA extends its sincere appreciation for your continued cooperation. Regarding the above subject, some real estate developers have been marketing and promoting projects before completing the required registration procedures and opening an escrow account. Please be advised that this practice constitutes a violation of Dubai Law No. 8 of 2007.
Accordingly, RERA urges all real estate developers to strictly adhere to the law and refrain from marketing or promoting any real estate projects until all registration requirements are met and an official permit is obtained from RERA.
This permit authorizes developers to market their projects while ensuring full compliance with the terms and conditions governing real estate advertisements.
