Common Definitions for .aeDA Policies

1. Purpose

This Policy contains:

a. the definitions for terms commonly used in .aeDA Policies (see Section 2 below; and

b. the rules to be followed in interpreting these terms where they appear in any .aeDA Policy (see section 3 below).

2. Definitions used in .aeDA Policies

Except where the context otherwise requires, the following words shall have the meanings assigned to them when they appear in any .aeDA Policy:

“ امارات. (dotEmarat) Domain Name” or “ امارات. (dotEmarat) Arabic Domain Name” means any Arabic Script Domain Name which ends with the ASCII format suffix “.xn--mgbaam7a8h” and represented in Arabic Script as “ امارات.”;
