With reference to the explosion accident onboard the oil tanker Zoya 1 "SAM" IMO: 9081174 occurred on 29th of January 2020, which has resulted on the death of 6 workers onboard and which has lead the authorities and ports in UAE to deploy its teams to rescue the remaining persons onboard and extinguish the fire, and in light of the investigations conducted by the Federal Transport Authority, the FTA has decided to:
1. Ban Jeshco Marine Services LLC preventively from carrying out her activities in UAE waters and ports till the Public Prosecution investigations is over.
2. A final warning has been issued to the agent Yacht International company LLC to ban his activities in UAE in the event of repeated violation of the regulations, and negligence to adhere to the local and federal requirements and providing inaccurate information to the official authorities.
