For the sake of regulating and monitoring the activities of registering foreign flag vessels from the UAE, all foreign flag representatives in the UAE must apply to the FTA to carry out such activities before 30th of June 2019.
The application shall contain the following:
1. A copy of the commercial/trading license.
2. Original copy of the authorization given to the representative stating the limitation of such authorization and the list of the authorized signatory's names and signatures, duly endorsed by the official authorities of the flag state, or from the embassy, consulate of that State.
In case of failure to comply with the above and continue to practice the activities after the dead line without obtaining the necessary permission, the FTA reserves the right to take all legal actions against those representatives, ships registered by them and ship-o...
