Due to the repeated cases of seafarer abandonment by VARUN RESOURSES LIMITIED company in the recent years at UAE ports and waters, and the latest case of their ship (MAHARASHI / AMADEVA) where the crew has been abandoned onboard suffering from shortage in provisions and fuel as well as lack of medical care, and unpaid salaries and dues, therefore:
All ships belonging to the subject company are banned from calling UAE ports or anchoring in UAE waters till further notice.
We hereby urge all ports and ship's agents to comply with this circular and stop dealing with subject company's ships to avoid any liabilities.
