Within the regulatory framework of the UAE Federal Maritime Administration (FMA) represented by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, responsible for regulating the maritime transport sector and monitoring the maritime education and training affairs, the UAE Maritime Administration has revoked the UAE flag endorsements issued for some of the officers based on the certificate of competency issued by a foreign maritime authority.
