As a result of the continuous monitoring and surveillance on the activities of vessels operating in UAE waters, aiming to protect the marine environment and safety of navigation, the authorities observed the following vessels:

1. M.T. NAJDIAH (IMO 7903299)

2. M.T LADY SARA (IMO 7931131)

 

Managed by Global Tankers Ltd (IMO 5665677), and represented by PRIME TANKERS LLC (IMO 1904245) conducting illegal ship to ship (STS) oil transfer operations in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of UAE.
After conducting the necessary investigations, the following actions has been taken:

1. Imposing a fine on the subject vessels.

2. Banning the two vessels from entering UAE waters including (EEZ).

3. Warning the mentioned companies above, from repeating such illegal operations in order to avoid banning the company activities in UAE, by taking the required undertaking letters.
