The Sharjah Executive Council has made the decision to suspend all mass events and celebrations in wedding halls, event halls, hotels, government and community facilities as a precaution in line with the preventative measures for COVID-19 virus. In accordance with this directive, Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority would like to direct all hotel establishments to comply with the following
- Wedding Parties to be suspended
- All Mass Events to be suspended
The above must be strictly adhered to, effective from Saturday 14th March 2020 till the end of March 2020. Please note, the suspension period is extendable. You will be kept updated.
Kindly note that SCTDA inspectors will be visiting hotel establishments to ensure adherence to these instructions.
Your compliance with the above is required and please be aware that legal measures will be taken against any violators.
