Greetings from the Dubai Corporation for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade (DCCPFT).

 

In line with the mandate of DCCPFT under Dubai Law No. (5) of 2023 (in particular Article 5, Article 6, Article 8, and Article 9), and pursuant to its functions to encourage fair trade practices, and curb anti-competitive conduct, DCCPFT is pleased to issue the attached Guidelines for Online Food Delivery Platforms in the Emirate of Dubai.

 

These Guidelines are intended to serve as a reference framework to support alignment with evolving standards of fairness, transparency, and responsible platform conduct.

 

They set out recommended practices across key areas including:

- Terms of engagement with food establishments;

- Data access and transparency;

- Platform neutrality;

- Anti-competitive practices, including exclusivity arrangements and predatory pricing.
