The UAE Federal Maritime Administration has decided to ban the vessel LUCKY STAR (Ex:Mazaya 5) and LUCKY MOON (EX:SSR 1) from the UAE ports and waters including the EEZ, for committing the following violations repeatedly:
1. Illegal STS petroleum products operations in the UAE waters.
2. Switching off the Automatic Identification system (AIS) without appropriate justification to the competent authorities.
3. Anchoring in the UAE waters without obtaining the required approvals from the competent authorities.
