The UAE Federal Maritime Administration has decided to ban the vessel FRANKLIN 1 from the UAE ports and waters including the EEZ, for committing the following violations:

1. Manipulating the Automatic Identification Systems broadcast signals (AIS Spoofing).

2. Anchoring in the UAE waters without obtaining the required approvals from the competent authorities.
