Reference is made to the Ministerial Decision No. 70 of 2018 concerning issuance of the "Cruising Permit" for visiting foreign yachts, and in order to regulate the cruising of foreign yachts in the UAE waters and to promote maritime tourism:
As of 01/08/2018, Foreign yachts visiting UAE have the right to cruise between the Ports/ Marinas in UAE waters for 6 months, provided that they obtain a "Cruising Permit” from FTA, upon meeting the following requirements:
1. Registration is made in the "Advance Passenger Information Online System" of the General Authority for the Security of Ports, Borders and Free Zones (MANAFTH).
2. Yacht crew obtained the multiple entry visit visa according cabinet Decision No. (20/3 О) of 2018.
3. Appointed a shipping agent, which could be the Marina Management.
4. Keeping Automatic Identification System (AIS) powered on and operational all the times during the period of visit.
5. The yacht must be registered under a flag state and for the purpose of private pleasure ...
