Federal Transport Authority Circular No. 11 of 2018 Banning Ships Belonging to Companies Involved in Seafarers' Abandonment Cases

For the sake of protecting seafarer's rights, and due to the repeated cases of seafarer's abandonment onboard ships belonging to the following companies:

1. ELITEWAY MARINE SERVICES L.L.C.

2. ABU QURRAH OIL WELL MAINTENANCE EST

Ships listed in Annex 1 attached, are banned from operating in U.A.E ports and waters, until further notice.

FTA warn ship agents and seafarers from dealing with the companies mentioned above.
