Reference to the Federal Transport Authority (FTA)issued on 24/04/2020 related to the explosion accident onboard MT Zoya 1 "SAM" IMO 9081174 occurred on 29th of January 2020, which has resulted on the death of 6 workers on board and which has lead the authorities and ports in UAE to deploy its teams to rescue the remaining workers onboard and extinguishing the fire, and in light of the completion of technical safety investigations conducted by FTA. Accordingly FTA has decided to:
1. Continuing to Cease and prohibit Jeshco Marine Services LLC from providing any activities related to cleaning tanks of oil tankers and any tanks for ships carrying materials that produce explosive or hydrocarbons gases or perform hot works, welding or cutting in these tanks, in UAE water and ports until further notice.
