Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology Decision No. 32 of Adopting Standard Specifications of the UAE

Chairman of the Board:

- Having reviewed Federal Law No. 28 of 2001 establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology

- Based on the decision of the Board of Directors in its meeting No. 5 of 2013 on 14/11/2013 to adopt a number of UAE Standard Specifications and UAE-Gulf Standard Specifications presented to the Board.

has decided the following:

Article 1

Adopts the UAE Standard Specifications whose titles and numbers are indicated in the attached lists:

- List No. 1 includes 2 new UAE standards in the food sector.

- List No. 2 includes 220 new and updated unified UAE-Gulf standards for a number of sectors.

Article 2

This Decision shall be published with List No. 1 and List No. 2 in the Official Gazette and come into effect from the date of publication.
