Council of Ministers:
- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the competences of ministries and the powers of ministers, as amended
- and Federal Law No. 2 of 2014 on Small and Medium Projects and Enterprises,
- As presented by the Minister of Economy and approved by the Council of Ministers
Resolved:
In the application of the provisions of this Decree, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to them unless the context states otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: Ministry of Economy.
Minister: Minister of Economy.
Law: Federal Law No. 2 of 2014 on Small and Medium Enterprises.
Enterprises and establishments: Any company or individual organisation engaged in an economic activity, whether small, micro or medium.
Council: Small and Medium Enterprises Council.
Programme: The National Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises.
