The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022 Regulating the Legal Profession and Legal Consultation Profession;
- Cabinet Decision No. 8 of 2025 on the Executive Regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022 Regulating the Legal Profession and Legal Consultation Profession;
- As presented by the Minister of Justice and approved by the Cabinet,
has decided:
The Charter of the Legal Profession and Legal Consultancy attached to this Decision shall be adopted.
1. The administrative penalties stipulated in Article 86 of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022 Regulating the Legal Profession and Legal Consultation Profession shall apply to any lawyer or legal consultant who violates any of the provisions of this Charter.
2. The Schedule of Administrative Penalties issued by a decision of the Cabinet shall apply to any legal researcher who violates any of the provisions of this Charter.
