The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 23 of 2024 on Social Support and Empowerment;
- Cabinet Decision No. 57 of 2025 Issuing the Executive Regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. 23 of 2024 on Social Support and Empowerment;
- as presented by the Minister of Community Empowerment and approved by the Cabinet
has decided:
The definitions provided in Federal Decree-Law No. 23 of 2024 on Social Support and Empowerment shall apply to this Decision, and otherwise the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them, unless otherwise stipulated in the context of the text:
Primary Beneficiary: The unemployed person in whose name the social support is approved and disbursed in accordance with the provisions of this Decision.
Social Support: Financial support provided by federal and local government agencies to individuals or families who are eligible for social support.
