The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competences of Ministers and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 4 of 1996 On the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2019 On Public Finance, and its amendments,
- Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2022 Regulating the Civilian Use of Drones and Related Activities, and
- As presented by the Minister of Finance and approved by the Cabinet
has decided:
In the application of the provisions of this Decision, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Emirate: Any Emirate of the State.
Authority: General Civil Aviation Authority.
Competent Authority: The local authorities competent for civil aviation affairs in the Emirate.
Governmental authorities: Federal and local ministries, bodies, organizations and government departments.
Person: A natural or legal person.
