The Cabinet has decided:
- after reviewing the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments, and
- Federal Decree-Law № 36 of 2021 on Trademarks,
- Pursuant to what was presented by the Minister of Economy and approved by the Cabinet,
The definitions provided in Federal Decree-Law № 36 of 2021, referred to herein, shall apply to the provisions of this Decree-Law, and otherwise the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned against each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
The competent department: The Department of Trademarks and Intellectual Works at the Ministry.
Trademark: A trademark as defined in Article 2 of the Law.
Registered Agent: The agent registered with the Ministry in the Register of Trademark Registration Agents.
Law: Federal Decree-Law № 36 of 2021 on Trademarks.
