The Cabinet:
- After reviewing the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on Commercial Companies;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 21 of 2022 on Regulating the Profession of Expertise before the Judicial Authorities;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 40 of 2023 on Mediation and Conciliation in Civil and Commercial Disputes;
- As presented by the Minister of Justice and approved by the Cabinet;
has decided:
The definitions provided in Federal Decree-Law No. 40 of 2023 shall apply to this Decision, and the following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
Ministry: Ministry of Justice.
Minister: Minister of Justice.
Department: Federal Judicial Inspection Department.
Private Mediation Centre: A centre licensed to provide mediation services in civil and commercial disputes in the State, taking one of the forms stipulated in Article 4 of this Decision.
