The Cabinet:
- Upon reviewing the Constitution;
- the Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 Concerning Electronic Transactions and Trust Services;
- the Cabinet Decision No. 8 of 2009 Concerning the Fees Payable on Transactions of Electronic Certification Service Providers;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and the approval of the Cabinet; Has decided as follows:
In application of the provisions hereof, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
Authority : Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.
Chairman : Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors.
Decree-Law : Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
Trust Services : The Electronic Services specified under Clause (1) of Article 17 of the Decree-Law, for which the Trust Service Provider is licensed to provide in accordance with the Licence issued thereto.
Accredited Trust Services : The Electronic Services specified under Clause (2) of Article 17
