- Federal Law No. 23 of 2005 On the rules for preparing the general budget and the final account, as amended,
- Federal Decree No. 85 of 2007 On the Common Customs Law for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC),
- Cabinet Decision No. 22 of 2007 On the Adoption of the Unified Table for the Classification and Categorisation of Goods for the GCC countries in Accordance with the Harmonised System (2007),
- Cabinet Decision No.414/8 of 2009 On Adopting the Schedule of Fees for Customs Services in Local Customs Departments in the United Arab Emirates,
- Upon the presentation of the Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Customs Authority, and the approval of the Cabinet.
