- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 15 of 1980 Regarding Publications and Publishing;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 3 of 2003 Regarding the Organization of the Telecommunications Sector and its amendments;
- Federal Law No. 2 of 2015 Regarding Commercial Companies;
- Federal Law No. 11 of 2016 Regarding the Regulation and Competencies of the National Media Council;
- Federal Law No. 14 of 2016 Regarding Violations and Administrative Penalties in the Federal Government;
- Cabinet Decision No. 13 of 2011 Regarding the Licensing of Radio and Television Broadcasting Activities;
- Cabinet Decision No. 12 of 2013 Regarding the Fees Imposed on Media Licenses;
