Cabinet Decision No. 19 of 2019 Concerning a Mandatory Standard with Obligatory Application in the United Arab Emirates

The Cabinet, 

- Having reviewed the Constitution; and 

- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 Concerning the competences of ministries and capacities of ministers and its amendments; and 

- Federal Law No. 28 of 2001 Concerning the establishment of the Emirates Standards and Metrology Authority and its amendments; and

- Based upon the Cabinet's Approval,

Decided:

Article 1

The mandatory standards related to the electricity sector, a total of (3), whose numbers and titles are shown in the schedule attached to this Decision, shall be considered mandatory standards with obligatory application in the United Arab Emirates.

Article 2

All concerned bodies, present at the time of enforcement of this Decision, comply with its provisions within (180) days of its enforcement.

Article 3 

This Decision shall be published in the official gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
