- Having reviewed the Constitution,
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 On the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Law No. 6 of 2023 On the Practice of certain Health Professions by Non-Physicians and Non-Pharmacists;
- Cabinet Decision No. 20 of 2017 Approving the Unified Standards for Licensing Health Practitioners at the State Level, and its amendments;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Health and Community Protection and the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
The definitions contained in Federal Law No. 6 of 2023 referred to in this Decision shall apply, and otherwise the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each of them, unless the context of the text requires otherwise:
Competent Authority: The organisational unit concerned with the affairs of health professionals in the Ministry or health authority.
