The Cabinet:
- Having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 Concerning the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 21 of 2022 Regulating the Profession of Experts before the Judicial Authorities; and
- Based on the proposal submitted by the Minster of Justice and approved by the Cabinet, Hereby Resolves as follows:
The same definitions set out in the above-referenced Federal Decree-Law No. 21 of 2022 Regulating the Profession of Experts before the Judicial Authorities shall be applicable to this Decision. Other than that, the following words and expressions shall bear the meanings assigned thereto respectively, unless otherwise required by the context:
Ad-hoc Expert: A qualified natural person whose name is not listed in the Roster, but who is working in a particular area of specialty with a federal or local government entity, and has professional expertise in the field of their work.
