The Cabinet,
- Having reviewed the Constitution; and
- Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2020, Concerning Standards and Metrology; and
- Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Cabinet’s approval,
Has resolved as follows:
In application of the provisions herein, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings ascribed thereto, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ministry: Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
Minister: Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
Competent Authorities: The federal and local government authorities that fall within its jurisdiction to implement any of the provisions of this Decision.
Scheme: The UAE Scheme for Steel Bars for Concrete Reinforcement regulated by this Decision.
