The Cabinet
- having reviewed the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022 Regulating the Legal Profession and Legal Consultation Profession;
- Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the approval of the Cabinet,
has decided:
1. The percentage of national lawyers and legal advisors working in foreign law firms and legal consultancies licensed to operate in the State shall not be less than 20% of the total number of lawyers and legal advisors working in those firms.
2. By a decision of the Minister of Justice some foreign firms stipulated in the previous paragraph may be exempted from the aforementioned percentage or this percentage may be reduced.
