Right for an annual leave |

The right to paid leave arises after 1 month of employment. A paid leave cannot be taken before this period. Employees are entitled to apply for a leave any time. The annual leave limit is 20 working days per year.
Note: in ADGM, the leave is calculated in working days, not in calendar days. A year in calculations is considered as:
- the period specified in the employment contract or company policy; or
- a calendar year from January 1 to December 31, unless a different period is specified by the contract.
