Head of the Department of Economic Development:
- Having reviewed Ajman Emiri Decree No. 1 of 2015 concerning the Department of Economic Development in Ajman and its amendments;
- based on Ajman Emiri Decree No. 5 of 2018 issuing the Law Regulating the Practice of Economic Activities in the Emirate of Ajman and its amendments,
have decided the following:
For the purposes of this decision, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings specified opposite each of them:
State: United Arab Emirates
Emirate: Emirate of Ajman.
Department: Department of Economic Development.
Competent Authority: Any local or federal authority that has jurisdiction under the legislation in force in the Emirate to license or participate in the licensing procedures for any economic activity.
Economic Establishment: Any company or institution established under the provisions of the legislation in force in the State and in the Emirates of the State and licensed to carry out economic activity in any of the...
