Pursuant to the Supreme Council's Resolution at its 22nd session in 2001 regarding the Industrial Exemption Controls, and as indicated in Chapter III of Part V of the GCC Unified Guide for Customs Procedures at First Points of Entry pertaining to industrial exemption, the following measures and procedures apply:
- Enterprise: Factory having industrial license under "GCC Unified Industrial Regulatory Law and Executive Regulations" thereof.
- Competent Authority:
A. The entity which is authorized to issue the industrial licenses in the GCC countries under "GCC Unified Industrial Regulatory Law and Executive Regulations" thereof.
B. Ministry of Economy or Industrial Development Bureau - the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi
- Enterprises Factories licensed under "GCC Unified Industrial Regulatory Law and Executive Regulations" thereof. Enterprises having industrial licenses from the Ministry of Economy or Industrial Development Bureau - the Department of Economic Development-Abu Dhabi.
