Pursuant to the provisions of Article No. 99, Article No. 100, Article No. 101) of “the Common Customs Law of the GCC” and its executive regulations, and as indicated in Part V of the GCC Unified Guide for Customs Procedures pertaining to diplomatic exemptions, the following measures and procedures apply:

 

Target category

1. Embassies and consulates in the GCC States (based on reciprocity principle).

2. International foreign organizations and authorities licensed in the GCC States.

3. Heads and members of the diplomatic and consular in the GCC States (based on reciprocity principle).

 

Article 1 - Controls

1. The imported goods shall be prepared for the use of accredited embassies and consulates, accredited international bodies and organizations or the heads and members of the accredited diplomatic and consular (based on reciprocity principle).

 

2. Exempted goods may not be utilized/ assigned for a purpose other than the purpose for which they have been exempted, subject to notification of the customs office and payment of applicable customs taxes/duties.
