- Abu Dhabi Law No. 19 of 2006 On the Regulation of Taxi Transport in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments;
- Abu Dhabi Law No. 30 of 2019 On the Establishment of the Department of Municipalities and Transport;
- Abu Dhabi Emiri Decree No. 11 of 2023 On the Restructuring of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
- Abu Dhabi Law No. 16 of 2022 On the Licensing of Drivers and Vehicles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024 On the Regulation of Traffic and Transport;
- Federal Decree-Law No. 12 of 2023 On the Regulation of Weights and Dimensions of Heavy Vehicles;
- based on the general interest,
has decided:
Heavy vehicles, trucks, cisterns and heavy equipment are prohibited from driving on the roads of Abu Dhabi City from Monday to Thursday during the period specified in the table below:
