- Having reviewed Abu Dhabi Law No. 1 of 1974 Reorganising the Government Apparatus of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 3 of 1987 Concerning the Penal Code, and its amendments,
- Federal Law No. 35 of 1992 Concerning the Criminal Procedure Law, and its amendments,
- Abu Dhabi Law No. 23 of 2006 reorganizing the Judicial Department in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its amendments
has decided:
1. A specialised first instance criminal court shall be established in Abu Dhabi under the name ‘Abu Dhabi Criminal Court’.
2. The court shall consist of a president and a sufficient number of judges and executors to carry out the necessary administrative and administrative work.
3. The spatial jurisdiction of the Court includes the spatial jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Court of First Instance and its subordinate courts.
