30 new activities for freelancers in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has announced the addition of 30 new activities that are available for freelancers to obtain a licence.

The new activities include:

1. artificial intelligence development,
2. electronic Equipment and Device Design, 
3. oil and natural gas extraction software Design,
4. data classification and analysis services, 
5. development and innovation in computer systems, 
6. 3D imaging manufacturing,
7. online gaming support services, and etc. 

To obtain a licence, applicants shall have work experience or academic/professional achievements in a specific field. ADDED has previously established the regulatory framework and general requirements for a freelancer licence.
