We, Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah,
- Having reviewed the Ras Al Khaimah Municipal Law of 1981;
- and Ras Al Khaimah Decision No. 8 of 2017;
- and acting in the public interest
have decided:
The Municipality shall collect fees on sales completed in the land and property sector for residential immovable property registration transactions at the rate of 2% from the buyer and 2% from the seller of the value of the immovable property.
These fees shall be calculated in relation to the value of the immovable property, whether land is vacant or built-up.
The value of the immovable property shall mean the value recorded in the records of the land and property sector, provided that if the Director of the Sector or his representative deems that the recorded value is not the real value of the immovable property at the time of registration, he shall estimate a value for it and collect the fee in proportion to the estimated value.
